Neighbors Helping Neighbors. W.E.C.A.R.E. Completes Our Latest Community Improvement Project.

A big part of the mission of the West Elkton Community Action Revitalization Effort (W.E.C.A.R.E.) is helping our neighbors keep up with the maintenance of their properties.

On May 17 a group of volunteers joined together to repair and paint a garage and carport for a local resident living in town.

The structure got some needed fixes and a fresh coat of paint, benefitting the owner, the neighborhood and the town in general. Everyone comes out ahead when a few people pitch in to help.
